DR HELEN EGODO GIVES SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS ACROSS 11 WARDS OF BIASE LGA WITH WRITING MATERIALS.

Earlier today 10th May 2021, Helen Isamoh Foundation and it’s team led by her Chairman/CEO, Hon. Dr. Mrs. Helen Isamoh Egodo embarked on an outreach program with a focus on “Developing the Nigerian Child” for a better tomorrow.

The primary aim is touching the lives of the less privileged, the downtrodden and pupils in Primary Schools in Biase LGA whose parents and care givers cannot afford their Tuition fees, books, and other educational needs.

The team which had a brief stop over at Biase Local Government Area Headquarters and were received by the Secretary of Council, Hon Daniel Ivang who stood in for the council boss who was unavoidably absent.

The Council Secretary who was briefed on the mission and vision of the foundation praised and eulogized the initiative. He prayed God to bless the Foundation for reaching out and affecting lives of the vulnerable in the society.

This year scholarship cut across the 11 council wards of Biase LGA and benefiaries were carefully picked from each community across all the wards.

In a vote of thanks, a pupil at Adim Presbyterian Primary School thanked the Chairman of the Foundation, Mrs Egodo Helen, PhD for caring for them at a time like this.

“Thank you ma, we are so grateful, we have never witnessed this type of intervention here before. This is the first of it’s kind, May God bless you”, she said.

All we have God gave us, to me this is a way of giving back to the society. We were really happy seeing smiles radiating all over the faces of the pupils and their teachers.

We will be using 3-4 days to ensure we get across all the select schools in Biase to complete this exercise knowing the terrain in Biase LGA is complex.

We appreciate our great team and foundation members who worked with me day and night on this project within a short time to ensure its success.

Gracias!
